We are a Welcome Center for the USTA.We coordinate an outreach program of instruction and organize tennis lessons, tournaments, and team play opportunities for players of all ages.

NEW 2016 LONGVIEW NEWS!

Longview will host four Play Days this summer, 2016.  Cost is $5 for members and $10 for non-members.  A Play Day is an informal competition day.  The format will be playing up to a certain number of games, points, or for a period of time.  Players up to 12 years old may participate.  Please register and pay at Longview the morning of  Play Day.  Remember to bring a racquet, hat, water bottle, and wear tennis/court shoes.  We will use the USTA 10U orange and green balls which are low-compression balls that facilitate a slower rally and longer points.  Play Day Dates are from 9:00-12:00 on the following days:

New Courts …

New courts

Our courts were completed in the fall of 2014 and are ready for play for the 2015 season!  We are excited about the new surface and play this summer.  However, as you get out to enjoy the courts, you will notice some cracks.  According to our contractors, court surface cracks on an overlay like we did at Longview are normal especially after the kind of winters we have in the Northland.  The courts will need to settle for a season before the cracks are patched and painted.  When the courts were resurfaced in 1998 the same thing happened.  So get out and enjoy the new courts and the wonderful Duluth summer!
