Longview hosts several tournaments throughout the summer: the Longview Junior City Tournament, the Wheeler Family Tournament and NEW for 2026 Adult & Youth Playdays. Scroll down for information and registration links.

This tournament takes place on the third Wednesday (with a rain date of Thursday) of June each year.
2026 date: Wednesday, June 17th, 6:00pm-8:00pm
The Wheeler Family Tournament is in memory of Dale H. Wheeler. It is a family tournament where an adult plays with a son/daughter.
Sign up will be in the Clubhouse!
The Longview Junior City Tournament is an area tournament for local Duluth/Superior junior players or Longview Tennis Camp participants. Full information listed on the form below.
2026 dates: Monday, July 27 - Thursday, July 30 12pm-5:30pm
Youth Playdays are for tennis players to compete against different opponents. It's like a mini 2-hr tournament! This is not a beginner competition group and players who sign up should know how to score, serve, return and play points. The coach present will create the compass or round-robin style draw where everyone signed up will continue to play the entire time whether you win or lose a round. Match play format can be time-based, sets, games or tiebreaks. A 5-minute warm-up (for the first round only) will be followed by match play.
The cost is $10.00 for Longview members and $20.00 for non-members. Playday participation requires payment each time. Please check-in and pay at the desk before you play.
Sign up before each Playday through the SignUp link. Space is limited. Sign-up to ensure a spot. Do not come if you are not signed up for a spot.
A MINIMUM of 4 players will be needed to hold the playday. Cancellation will be made on the Longview FB page and an email from SignUp will be sent out.
Any “No-shows” are expected to pay for their spot. Playdays will be held weather permitting
Youth Playdays: 6/12, 6/27, 7/10, 7/12, 7/17, 8/7
Youth Open Plays are for youth tennis players to practice match play and competing. This is not a beginner (never played before) group, but players will have a range of playing ability/experience from intermediate-advanced. The coaches present will help similar-ability players group together. Coaches will also give strategy advice and stroke corrections. Match play format can be time-based, sets, games or tiebreaks and can be singles and/or doubles. A warm-up will be followed by match play.
The cost is FREE for Longview members or $5.00 for non-members. Please check-in and pay at the desk before you play.
Sign up before each Youth Open Play through the SignUp link. Sign-up to ensure a spot. Do not come if you are not signed up for a spot. There is a maximum of 24 players.
